Java Teaching Support on Learn.java
Learn.java is a newer website designed to support beginning students and their teachers in learning Java. At learn.java you will find tutorials and embedded practice on introduction to Java topics, AP Computer Science A practice free response questions, and inspiring stories from teachers, interns, and java professionals, to help you answer the question “Why Java”.
What's New on Learn.java
New content is added to Learn.java regularly. Here is a short list of updates:
- We added tutorials and practice for the following topics:
- ArrayLists,
- iterating over enum,
- adding constructors and methods to enum,
- loop practice for while, do..while, and for loops
AP Computer Science A Support
Looking for some free response question practice? Practice is being developed and posted here.
We have free response questions for Strings, Methods and Control Structures, and Class Design, with more to come in the next few months.
Webinar Series
The webinars that are offered by the Learn.java team are typically short, between 15 and 30 minutes. They are meant to easily plug into your day. You can learn and gain ideas quickly without having to carve out a lot of time in your day. These are recorded and will be posted on Learn.java as well as YouTube playlist.
